Seoraksan National Park

Day 4-took a 5 plus hour bus journey northwards

Seoraksan National Park

^ Came to a place where we took a cable car ride up one of the mountains.
^A further hike up to the top to take photos!
^Also called Mt. Seolsan and Mt. Seolbongsan, the mountains were named Seorak because the snow would not melt for a long period of time and its rocks stay white like snow.
^Rocks were placed by visitors who made wishes.
^There was a temple at the bottom of the mountains.

Accomodations that night was at Seorak Hanhwa Resort. The Seorak Waterpia is located within walking distance.

"Seorak Waterpia is a theme park offering hot springs facilities and outdoor leisure activities. Waterpia uses only pure Choeksan mineral waters, which is at 49 degrees. The water comes from the layer formed during the Mesozoic Era, and the water volume used per day is about 3,040 tons. With its abundance of cations (Sodium, Calcium, and Magnesium) and anions (such as chlorine, carbonic acid, and sulphuric acid), hot springs are good for stess, neuralgia, arthritis, and geriatric diseases."

I thoroughly enjoyed the evening at the spa :) hmmmmmmmmmm

^View from my room. (early morning)

^Panoramic view of the mountains. (Taken in front of the resort)
