Quebec, Canada
Quebec is Canada's largest province, located in the eastern side of Canada. It is the second most populated province in Canada. The official language of Quebec is French; it is the sole Canadian province whose population is mainly French Canadian, and where English is not an official language at the provincial level.

___________________________________________________________Montreal, Quebec, Canada
It is the second largest city in Canada, and the largest city in the province of Quebec. Just southeast of downtown is Old Montreal, an historic area with such attractions as the Old Port, Place Jacques-Cartier, City Hall, the Marché Bonsecours, Place d'Armes, Pointe-à-Callière Museum, and the Notre-Dame de Montréal Basilica.

^Architecture and cobbled streets in Old Montreal have been maintained or restored to keep the look of the city in its earliest days as a settlement.^Discovered a restaurant hidden in one of the old buildings.
A lovely stretch of trees.

Along the way back to Joanna's place, we discovered a small family-run market selling vegetables from their own farm! Very fresh produce and this is first time I've seen different coloured cauliflower!

Finally, the best snack found in Canada: Donuts! From a chain store called Tim Horton. One of the photos features "tim-bits" or just small balls of donuts. YUMMY!

The purple cauliflowers look yummy :P like berries... Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal looks grand! Did you hear the pipe organs being played when you were there?
No.. there was no organ performance then. i was there on a weekday.
The donuts are yummy.. they are not exactly all donut dough.. some taste more like cake! My favourites were those with fillings!
